updates the status of a release to be either a prerelease or a release

jx step update release-status github [flags]

Examples

  jx step update release github -o jenkins-x -r jx -v 1.2.3 -p=false

Options

  -h, --help                help for github
      --owner string        The owner of the git repository (default "o")
  -p, --prerelease          The release state of that version release of the repository
  -r, --repository string   The git repository
  -v, --version string      The version to udpate. If no version is found an error is returned

Options inherited from parent commands

  -b, --batch-mode   Runs in batch mode without prompting for user input
      --verbose      Enables verbose output. The environment variable JX_LOG_LEVEL has precedence over this flag and allows setting the logging level to any value of: panic, fatal, error, warn, info, debug, trace
