Synopsis

Creates the istio addon for service mesh on Kubernetes

jx create addon istio [flags]

Examples

  # Create the istio addon
  jx create addon istio
  
  # Create the istio addon in a custom namespace
  jx create addon istio -n mynamespace

Options

  -c, --chart string                     The name of the chart to use
  -d, --config-dir string                The config directory to use (default "/istio_service_dir")
      --helm-update                      Should we run helm update first to ensure we use the latest version (default true)
  -h, --help                             help for istio
      --ingress-gateway-service string   The name of the ingress gateway service created by Istio (default "istio-ingressgateway")
  -n, --namespace string                 The Namespace to install into (default "istio-system")
      --no-injector-webhook              Disables the injector webhook
  -p, --password string                  The default password to use for Istio (default "istio")
  -r, --release string                   The chart release name (default "istio")
  -s, --set string                       The chart set values (can specify multiple or separate values with commas: key1=val1,key2=val2)
  -f, --values stringArray               List of locations for values files, can be local files or URLs
  -v, --version string                   The chart version to install)

  -b, --batch-mode   Runs in batch mode without prompting for user input
      --verbose      Enables verbose output. The environment variable JX_LOG_LEVEL has precedence over this flag and allows setting the logging level to any value of: panic, fatal, error, warn, info, debug, trace
