Attendance at the Jenkins X Contributor Summit is free, and a DevOps World | Jenkins World conference pass is not necessary, but please RSVP if you are going to attend.
The Jenkins X Contributor Summit is an opportunity for current and future Jenkins X contributors to come together to discuss the project, learn and collaborate. There will be discussions on the latest exciting developments in Jenkins X and time to contribute to the project. We welcome new contributors: this is a great chance to learn more about the project, find out how to contribute and meet the core contributors!
The contributor summit is part of a joint contributor summit alongside Jenkins. In the morning, there will be presentations by the core contributors of both projects. These will highlight the mission, goals and future direction of each project, as well as how community members can contribute. In the afternoon, there will be breakout Birds-of-a-Feather sessions for deeper discussion and collaboration with Jenkins X contributors. Bring your laptop, ideas and questions, and be ready for some hacking.

All levels of contributors are welcome! During the Birds-of-a-Feather sessions you are welcome to join in any session that interests you. At the end of the day, if you would like to share what you have learned or worked on, there will be Ignite lightning talks.
