Deletes one or more branches in git repositories

Synopsis

Deletes one or more branches in repositories.

Note that command will ask for confirmation before doing anything!

jx delete branch [flags]

Examples

  # Selects the repositories to delete from the given GitHub organisation
  jx delete branch --org myname --name myrepo -f updatebot- -a

Options

  -a, --all                   If selecting branches to remove this defaults to selecting them all
      --all-repos             If selecting projects to remove branches this defaults to selecting them all
  -f, --filter string         If selecting branches to remove this filters the list of repositories
      --filter-repos string   If selecting projects to remove brancehs this filters the list of repositories
  -g, --git-host string       The Git server host if not using GitHub
      --github                If you wish to pick the repositories from GitHub to import
  -h, --help                  help for branch
      --merged                If deleting merged branches in a repository
  -n, --name stringArray      Specify the Git repository names to delete
  -o, --org string            Specify the Git provider organisation that includes the repository to delete

Options inherited from parent commands

  -b, --batch-mode   Runs in batch mode without prompting for user input
      --verbose      Enables verbose output. The environment variable JX_LOG_LEVEL has precedence over this flag and allows setting the logging level to any value of: panic, fatal, error, warn, info, debug, trace
